The airport comprises two main passenger terminals: Terminal 1 (International) and Terminal 2 (Domestic), both accessible via Airport Avenue off the Captain Cook Highway. Tom McDonald Drive runs through the General Aviation Precinct, which houses various aviation services and businesses. The area is well-signposted, with clear directions to terminals and facilities.

How to Get There 
By Train:&nbsp;Cairns Railway Station is located in the city centre. From there, it&#39;s approximately a 10-minute taxi ride to the airport.

By Bus:&nbsp;Sunbus operates services to and from Cairns Airport, with stops near both terminals. Check local schedules for the most convenient route.

By Car:&nbsp;Short-term and long-term parking options are available adjacent to both terminals. Additional parking is available in the General Aviation Precinct along Tom McDonald Drive. Street parking is limited and time-restricted.

By Foot:&nbsp;The airport is not easily accessible on foot from the city centre due to distance and lack of pedestrian pathways. It&#39;s recommended to use public transport or a taxi service.
