This tour starts in Manila and ends in Boracay. You’ll need to fly into Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) where your tour guide will pick you up and take you to the starting hotel.

The closest airport to the end destination is Caticlan's Godofredo P. Ramos Domestic Airport. You can make your way to this airport by catching a short ferry there from Boracay. From Caticlan Airport, you can catch a domestic flight to Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) or Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) to fly internationally.

Please note you will need an onward ticket exiting the country within 30 days before you can enter the Philippines. If you do not have this, you may not be able to board your flight and enter the country.

The beauty of this group style of travel is that it caters to travellers who are travelling solo and who want to meet and share experiences with like-minded people.

Rooming is organised on a twin-share basis. Solo travellers will be paired with another traveller of the same gender.

There is also an optional single supplement available on most trips for travellers who prefer to have their own room.

This tour is designed for travellers aged 18 and up. Most people travelling on this tour are generally aged between 18 and 35, but there is no upper age limit; you’re only as old as you feel!

It's the perfect adventure for anyone looking for maximum adventure and minimum hassle. Each day is filled with unforgettable activities and bucket-list experiences!

The Philippines requires all international visitors to present a valid passport (with a minimum of 6 months validity) upon arrival.

Visa and entry requirements for this trip will vary depending on where you are from, and it is your own responsibility to have the correct travel documentation. If you’re unsure of your requirements, we strongly recommend contacting your local embassy, consulate, or travel agent for the most up-to-date information.

Yes, travel insurance is compulsory on this trip. You’ll need to be covered for any personal requirements and pre-existing medical conditions as well as cancellation charges, medical expenses, and repatriation costs in the event of an accident or illness.

Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers might like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for meals, drinks, shopping, and tipping.

You can typically purchase a meal out for 10-15 AUD (390-590 PHP) and alcoholic beverages tend to cost around 2-3 AUD (70-120 PHP) each. However, there are always more expensive options. For a meal in a mid-range, sit-down restaurant, you can expect to pay up to 25 AUD (975 PHP), not including alcohol.

You will receive a packing checklist in your pre-departure pack after booking. This pack will also include all the best travel tips for your tour. This checklist will let you know if there’s something specific you'll need that you might not have thought of. For most countries, we'd recommend something to cover your shoulders and knees in case you visit any temples or other religious buildings where they are required.

The included flights on this tour come with a free 20 kg check-in bag. If you have oversized or additional bags to check in, you will need to pay for them yourself.

We would always recommend packing your things in a backpack over a suitcase. Suitcases are not ideal for travelling as even if they have wheels it’s very hard to pull them across the beach. If it's your first time with a backpack, you’ll never look back after it!

You’ll be staying in comfortable hotels in twin-share rooms for the duration of the tour. If you are a solo traveller, you will be paired up with another traveller of the same sex from your group.

On the Coron Castaway boat trip, you’ll experience beach camping at its finest by staying in open-air bungalows on the beach, complete with mattresses and mosquito nets.

If you have an allergy or food preference you must let us know so we can inform your group leader.

We also recommend printing out allergy cards in the local language. These cards can be easily found on Google and are great to carry as they can be shown to the restaurants we eat at to explain your allergy in depth and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.

If there is a cooking class on the tour we will also let them know to make it as safe and as inclusive as possible.
